What most assume is the most significant day for a couple, for a young man and woman in Mexico, their wedding day seemed to be the most horrible day of their lives. The wedding, which was reportedly an arranged marriage, took place in Tlaxcala, where this kind of matrimony is not rare.
The video of the wedding is all over social media, dubbing it ‘The saddest wedding in Mexico’ due to the dissatisfaction on both their faces, especially the bride. She did not even seem to care about anything at all.
When she threw the traditional bouquet, it landed just a few feet away from where she was standing. The announcer tried to liven the party, but the couple did not care. They would not look at anybody, not even each other or the camera. It was like they were in a different world.
People gathered in a circle to witness the couple’s first kiss. The announcer kept saying that they were husband and wife, to not be shy, to kiss. The bride, however, continued pushing the groom away and turning her face to avoid kissing him.
The video also shows the awkward faces of the guests. It is still unknown why the teenage couple got married, but at least their viral wedding was a success on social media.
