According to TMZ, Enrique Iglesias’ partner – former tennis player Anna Kournikova – delivered a boy and girl named Nicholas and Lucy in Miami on Saturday. Iglesias and Kournikova take their privacy so seriously that the world didn’t even know she was pregnant.
This news was a surprise to many fans and media as well. The singer and athlete managed to keep the pregnancy private all this time. She even posted full body pictures on Instagram. Even so, nobody suspected anything.
The first-time parents have been together since 2001 when they met on set for the video of Iglesias’ hit song ‘Escape’. They have been together for 16 years now.
Ever since they started dating there has been speculation if they tied the knot. Kournikova was spotted with a huge ring once, but they have yet to confirm the marriage.
Anna is 36-years-old now and Enrique is 42. They have said several times they don’t need a piece of paper to show their love.
“We’re just as happy. There comes a point when you’ve been with someone for a certain amount of time that I believe that you are like, married. I guess the only difference is that we haven’t walked down the aisle,” Enrique said during one of his concerts last year.
