Hordes of Donald Trump fans decided to burn their “Make America Great Again” hats to protest the President’s deal on DACA. The disgruntled supporters took to Twitter and filmed themselves doing it.
“Make America Great Again” hats have become a staple among Trump supporters, they have become upset over President Trump’s willingness to work with Democrats over protections for DREAMers, so some of them are setting their headwear to show their anger, using hashtags including #AmnestyDon and #burnmyMAGAhat.
One user cites this new DACA deal as one of many campaign promises that Trump has broken. Trump will never be able to drain the swamp if he keeps this up, which leaves this young man “no choice” but to burn his hat.

He finishes his “protest” by challenging the President and saying: “Your move,” but it’s unclear what exactly is the challenge, that Trump burns his own MAGA hat?
Another user tries to make his point by burning the hat, but his sentiment does not really translate, as it takes painstakingly long to catch fire.

This user was smarter about his social media statement and filmed the hat already in flames, instead of showing the fail prone process of trying to burn it.

The hashtag #burnmyMAGAhat now includes a mix of people calling the President a “cuck” and people laughing at the earnest users of the hashtag.

After agreeing to a deal with Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi on a debt ceiling extension, President Trump continued to perplex Republican supporters when it was reported that Trump and the Democrats had reached another deal concerning DACA and border security.
Trump has tweeted: “[DREAMERs] have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own—brought in by parents at young age,” and: “Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated, and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military?”
While it seems that most of President Trump’s ardent supporters aren’t going to leave him over his reported deal to codify the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, he is rapidly losing face among his most notorious supporters, like Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity, for making bipartisan agreements.
Many conservatives have long feared that Trump’s Democratic past and habit of flip-flopping might eventually derail his immigration promises. The president’s apparent decision to pursue DACA was descrbied by The Washington Post as “a blaring political fire alarm.”
Former Trump campaign adviser, Sam Nunberg, remarked in a Thursday interview.“The reality is sinking in that the Trump administration is on the precipice of turning into an establishment presidency.”
Meanwhile, outraged ex-supporters of President Donald Trump keep expressing their discontent by burning the hats, and making sure everyone sees it on Twitter.
