The internet never tires of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) being the butt of a joke, especially when he sets himself up for failure. In his latest slip-up, Ted Cruz liked a tweet of a porn clip with his verified account. Twitter wasted no time to shame the senator, but the best response came from his former college roommate.
His like occurred on September 11th, of all days, and Ted Cruz was trending worldwide in a matter of minutes. Cruz’s conservative stance on many sexual issues, including his approval of banning sex toys, provides internet users with an unlimited arsenal of insults. One tweet reads:
Guys, come on, let’s please give Ted Cruz the same respect for his private sexual life that he gives to us, which is none, have at it.
His like has been removed, but Cruz or his staff have yet to speak on the subject. They reported the tweet but didn’t mention if an outside source had tampered with the account. This lack of information hints at the fact that it was in deed Cruz who liked the hardcore porn clip – he doesn’t know how to internet properly yet.
Audiences caught a deeper glimpse into the strange life of Ted Cruz after his ex-roommate blasted him on Twitter. Cruz used to share a dorm with Craig Mazin – the screenwriter for Hangover parts two and three – while at Princeton University, and he is now the subject of Mazin’s online trolling. Craig’s fixed tweet regarding Cruz reads:
Ted Cruz thinks people don’t have a right to “stimulate their genitals.” I was his college roommate. This would be a new belief of his.
That post is from 2016, but it still applies today. Following Cruz’s social media mishap, Mazin started his roast of Ted Cruz by inviting people to imagine the senator in the act, like he had to witness in person. “Now imagine Ted Cruz is doing this four feet below you in the bottom bunk bed. Yes, my misery very much appreciates your company,” he wrote.
Older tweets include:
“Sadly, the fact that Ted Cruz jacks off to mediocre porn spam is the most human thing we can say about him. This is actually his high point,” Mazin continued in his next tweet. He ended his rant with, “I never wanted this for any of you. I thought maybe I’d feel better if two or three people knew. Not six billion. That said? I FEEL BETTER.”
However, the trolling continued with Mazin replying to those congratulating him, and to those unhappy with the jokes at Cruz’s expense. Since Ted Cruz started his presidential campaign, Mazin has been the leader of turning the senator into a punchline. This time, though, Cruz was asking for it.
