A new trend having to do with experimenting new recipes for our traditional Thanksgiving dinner has been sweeping the nation as of late, from vegan Tofurkeys to Hot Flamin’ Cheeto Turkeys, people everywhere are expanding the culinary limits of the holiday and it is obvious that restaurants will also play their part on this new and delicious venture.
Our dinner plans for the special night can now draw inspiration from the country’s favorite Mexican fast food chain restaurant. On Thursday night, Taco Bell held’s it’s 5th annual “Friendsgiving” dinner, only a week before the awaited holiday. The creators of the Cool Ranch Doritos Tacos posted a picture on Twitter of the menu they would be enjoying at the exclusive banquet in their Irvine, California headquarters.

The appetizers included butternut squash Chalupa bites with caramelized onions, Taco Supreme croquettes, and an autumn salad with an Orange Cream Pop vinaigrette, all of them with a unique spin that only Taco Bell could pull of to start of the holidays with the right foot and a full stomach.
Attendees were in for a treat as Taco Bell presented a spiral ham elevated with a glaze of the restaurant’s unofficial ‘official’ drink Mountain Dew Baja Blast as one the evening’s main dishes. Other entrees and sides included “Turkeritos” which we assume are turkey burritos, but what really stood out was the Doritos Locos Taco flavored mash potatoes and Elote Corn, that came in both Cool Ranch and Fiery.

According to the company, dinner attendees included a small group of social media influencers who documented the party on their Snapchats and Instagram stories much to the public’s envy and Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz who shared margaritas with the influencers and also took pictures for their social media.
Social media users praised Taco Bell for their creative menu and expressed desires to one being able to assist the deliciously exclusive affair that has now become a tradition in the company. While it is highly improbable that the company ever puts out a party like this that is open for the popular public, showing up to a Thanksgiving dinner with a hefty pack of DLTs could probably make up for it.
