Son Of Mexican Actor Who Slapped Journalist Cries In Interview Regarding Father

If you thought the Eduardo Yañez ‘chisme’ was over, well you better think again! His son, Eduardo Yañez Jr., who was the reason for the altercation between Yañéz Sr. and Univision’s reporter Paco Fuentes, has broken the silence about his father’s accusations.

Yañez Sr. claims his son stole money from him, but Yañez Jr. says, “It wasn’t about money, it was a physical problem between my father and me,” while speaking to Telemundo’s ‘Al Rojo Vivo.’ “We were both at fault, the problem didn’t happen on its own.”

“He said he wanted to defend me but I think that he didn’t reveal the real issues because it’s a problem where I don’t look good and he doesn’t either,” said Yáñez Jr. with pain in his voice. “I thought he had changed and now I don’t know what to think,” he added.

“Things happen between families and I think it’s due to resentment and hate that has happened in our lives and we have hurt each other.” – Eduardo Yañez Jr.

Rodner Figueroa asked the young son to expand on his Tweet that read: “actions speak louder than words.” Yañez Jr. explained, saying, “I said things about the past and he returned that as a slap of things in the past,” he started saying.

“It does hurt when a father and you have lived through a lot and even though we have not been kind to each other, I wanted to see a message like ‘good thing you’re not dying’ or something like that. I will have to deal with that, with that pain in my life.”

“Maybe becoming a father will help me understand things that I don’t understand at the moment because one has to grow and let life teach you lessons. That’s how it’s been since I was 2 years old and my mother and father split and I had to live with my grandmother who I saw die of cancer.”

“There is a lot of things I have lived through that I have kept in my heart,” Yañez Jr. continued saying. “It breaks my heart having a person that supposedly has a love for you and only shows it when it is convenient for him.”

“Nobody has forced me to come here and talk to you as nobody obligates me to write on Twitter or anywhere else,” said the Yañez Sr. during an interview. “I want to apologize to Paco as my behavior was not right. I am in agreement with all of you, the public, the press and everyone else that is now talking about.”

“My behavior was not right. I just felt that Paco got involved in a subject that is way too personal to me. It’s too sensitive. It’s about defending my family and not allowing them to touch my son. At that moment I thought he was very insistent and I perceived it, even making light of the situation regarding my son, and I couldn’t handle it. I lost.”
