Pitbull Goes After Trump At Latin American Music Awards Ceremony

Pitbull has become the latest celebrity whose name will go inside President’s Trump little black book, after his emotive message at the Latin American Music Awards last Thursday night in Los Angeles. The Miami singer did not beat around the bushes and was very vocal about what he had to say in both English and Spanish.

As he got up on stage to accept the Latin AMA Dick Clark Award, Armando Christian Pérez first started talking about ALL the natural catastrophe victims, from the Caribean to the people in Texas to those affected by Mexico’s earthquakes.

“The folks that are helpless right now,” he said while Enrique Iglesias who had presented him with the award was standing by him. “I want to motivate them to stay strong and rebuild even stronger…all the way from Puerto Rico to Cuba, the Keys…” he said before starting to talk about immigration.

“Don’t ever forget that immigrants built the United States of America,” said Mr. 305. “With that said, we got to stay strong and we got to fight so that the United States of America stays the United States of America. Not the divided states of America.”

The “Messing Around” singer, also performed his new single “Por Favor” with the four remaining members of the ‘beautiful, sophisticated, sexy’ Fifth Harmony who also didn’t hold anything back when it came to speaking their mind about Donald Trump’s current administration

Referring to Trump’s controversial border wall between Mexico and the U.S. the singer said the following, “They should be building more schools instead of worrying about building a wall,” said the Reggaeton artist who knows a thing or two about building schools since he himself helped build the Sports Leadership and Management (SLAM) Academy Charter School in Miami.

We know very well how the American people feel about celebrities getting political, we understand that it’s not their place, however, let’s evaluate this for a moment, it’s not like we haven’t chosen actor into office before, and that’s not a bad thing, the arts should have a say on what goes on in this country, they are as essential to our country as math, economy, farming, etc. Hopefully, in the future, more singers will get involved in our democratic process because that’s what makes our country great.

Pitbull is a 36-year-old Miami based Hip-Hop and Reggaeton artist known for his multiple collaboration with other singers from all genres.
