Oliver Stone, one of the biggest names in the film industry, is being haunted by his past as a series of pictures from the photocall of his movie ‘Savages’ resurfaced. The pictures show the award-winning filmmaker hovering his hand over Salma Hayek’s breast are making headlines yet again in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal.
Stone, who was already firewalking through Hollywood for his refusal to condemn the sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein, is now coming under some fire of his own. Not only for the pictures, which had already been widely covered by the media, but also for some troubling allegations that female celebrities have started opening up about.

The Hollywood Reporter approached Stone for a comment on Weinstein when the scandal broke out. “I’m a believer that you wait until this thing gets to trial,” said Stone back then. “I believe a man shouldn’t be condemned by a vigilante system. It’s not easy what he’s going through, either. During that period he was a rival. I never did business with him and didn’t really know him.”

His comments caught a lot of criticism from inside the industry and the public, and soon he had to write a statement on Facebook where he showed more empathy towards the victims and where he also announced that he would drop the project he was working on with the Weinstein Company.

However, shots had already been fired and actress Patricia Arquette took to Twitter to describe an unsavory experience she had had with the filmmaker, where she claims that Stone at the very least acted ‘weird’ and that it shows “the craggy and uncertain terrain women negotiate in entertainment and all businesses.”

Still, this feels partially innocent compared to the allegations that actress and former Playboy model Carrie Stevens made against Oliver Stone. Stevens told The Hollywood Reporter that a long time ago, the filmmaker purposely and nonconsensually groped her breast during a party at Ted Field’s house. “Oliver spied me standing nearby and just reached out and instead of doing what a normal person does and shaking my hand, he just groped my boob and honked it like a horn and grinned and kept walking,” said the actress.
When I heard about Harvey, I recalled Oliver walking past me & grabbing my boob as he walked out the front door of a party. Two of a kind!

It appears that there could be more people that have had unpleasant experiences with the filmmaker as reports from others are just coming through.
