According to a study by Netflix, Mexicans watched more Netflix in 2017 than any other group. One Mexico user watched “Monsters Inc.” 364 times this year, and one house in Colombia reportedly streamed “Shrek” 311 times, and another one in Peru viewed it 226 times.
Some Latino shows are among the most viewed of the year. The study divided the most viewed shows into sections.
In the section, “The Shows We Devoured in 2017,” “Ingobernable” was ranked number six. “Narcos” was number one in the “The Shows That Got Us Cheating in 2017” section.
Other exciting data revealed in the study indicated that the most significant streaming day of the year was January 1st. One member watched “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” 365 days in a row.
There is a lot to say about what we watched on Netflix in 2017. We will have to wait for what awaits us in 2018. Will Latin America be number one again?
