A beautiful 2-month-old baby girl dressed in an all pink outfit got left at a Mexican hospital by her mother. According to the local authorities, the mother took the baby to an appointment at a children’s hospital because she had an unknown infection.
The child had to stay in the hospital for two weeks so doctors could further evaluate the gravity of the infection and seek treatment. Visitation logs show that the mother visited her child the first few days, but vanished without a trace once the baby was well and ready to go home.
Currently, the baby is at a state-run (DIF) temporary shelter for children waiting for any other news. Mexican authorities are searching for the parents everywhere, with a formal legal case already underway against the child’s guardians.
Motives as to why the mother left her baby in the hospital are still unclear, and her well-being cannot be assured. Authorities just hope to find a family member to take care of the 2-month-old infant, for now, providing local numbers in case anybody can provide further information regarding this case.
