Girl From ‘Los Quince De Rubi’ Attacked On Social Media For Drastic Makeover

Rubi Ibarra is an up and coming Mexican singer who has come under fire for a provocative outfit she wore to a presentation in the 2017 festivities of Nuevo Leon. Performing alongside Yhan Rivera, the teenage girl wore an all-black outfit with a bejeweled bustier that pushed up her chest, sending the more conservative audience members into shock.

Some people felt the outfit was too revealing for a girl her age. Others started spreading rumors about the singer getting plastic surgery and subsequently dragged her parents to the ‘chisme’.

“Girl you are only 15, this outfit is terrible… Enjoy your childhood,” one person wrote on her Instagram post. “There is no doubt in my mind that she’s crazy, but the parents are crazier. How irresponsible of them knowing that at that age you can’t have these type of surgeries, but what can you expect from such ignorant people,” said another.

The following comment takes the cake, though, “You are walking an evil path girl. You’ve already decided that you don’t mind doing whatever it takes to succeed, but you are very wrong Rubi. That is not the way. The way is with all your determination and dedication if you really want to be a big star, and succeed, in my humble opinion,” wrote the sanctimonious Instagram user.

“Could the girl be more intervened by plastic surgery? You don’t know how to walk and you already want to run. That is no outfit for a 16-year-old,” said the same user about the 15-year-old singer, whom she thought was 16.

Fortunately for the young singer, her fans came to offer support and send positive messages along. “Wow, you are so pretty, Rubi. Congratulations! Remember that the dogs will always bark, so don’t stop to look at them. All they want is attention. Follow your own path. You can’t always please everyone,” wrote one of her fans.

“She looks good. At the end of the day, it’s her life and nobody should mess with it. It’s her money and if her parents are ok with it, I don’t see why people have to be talking about it in such a negative way,” wrote a fan from the Dominican Republic.

Hopefully, Ibarra can come out of this one without affecting her confidence. The path to fame is paved with criticism and it can sometimes be too much to handle for a person that young.
