[VIDEO] Cop Dances Soulja Boy’s ‘Stanky Leg’ With Local Neighborhood Children

You might wanna put on your dancing shoes for this one! This Alabama cop got some serious moves! Well, not really but the man is trying! Seriously though, this dance-off calls for a jury. We need to crown the victor of this impromptu dance-off.

This occurred in Prichard, Alabama on October 28th. A group of neighborhood kids and a Prichard police officer had the most epic dance battle. One thing is clear, though, everyone that was present at that scene for the dancing already won.

One kindergartner, Armani Tripp, will now have a whole new appreciation for the police. She will never forget her new friend in blue who stopped to spend time with her and her friends.

The child’s mother, Marshae White, a front desk attendant at a local Econo Lodge, posted the heartwarming video of Officer Casey Chumney from the Prichard Police Department dancing with the little girl. It has garnered over 4,000 shares and 2,000 reactions on her personal Facebook account, catching the attention of many news outlets that have contacted Mrs. White to hear her account of the tender event.

“He made me feel like all police aren’t bad he pulled up got out, played with the kids, asked about school and decided to challenge them in a dance contest,” wrote the appreciative mother on the caption of the video. “Shout out to officer K.C with Prichard Police Department.”

The mother says she was at her sister’s house that Saturday afternoon. Several children, including her 5-year-old daughter, were outside dancing. That’s when the Prichard PD officer appeared on the scene. He decided to make new friends and joined in on the fun.

“I had the music going because she likes to dance,” explained Mrs. White to a reporter from NBC15 WPMI. “And he stopped and he was like what ya’ll know about Soulja Boy? And I’m like Soulja Boy, what you know about Soulja Boy? And he was like ya’ll know how to crank that?”

The cop doing the ‘Stanky Leg’ was hands down everybody’s favorite part, including Armani’s. Let’s really take some time to appreciate this generational bond. It just comes to show that there are a million more things that can bring us together – like Soulja Boy, for example – than things that can tear us apart.
