Cardi B is by no means the Frozen princess, but her buoyant personality, mixed with her fiery trap rhymes and her no-filter attitude, turns the former exotic dancer into eye candy for many young girls gravitating towards the ‘Bodak Yellow’ singer.
As she continues to cement herself in popular culture and on the mainstream media, Cardi Bae has realized that she might have a bigger responsibility than she thought when it comes to being a youth role model. This reason is why the artist is considering to tone it down a notch with her persona.

“I realized, after Halloween, a lot of little girls, they be looking up to me,” Cardi said in an Instagram video that she uploaded last Wednesday. “They love me and I’m thinking to myself, like, ‘Yo, I really need to be a better example,’” the singer continued.
“But I be trying to be a better example, though, you know what I’m saying? I’ve been trying to be more PG-13, less rated R. But I be hanging out with my hood rat friends and then they f*ck me up all over again.”

She concluded her video vowing to her young fans that she would work on making a positive change in herself. “But I’m gonna change for you, little girls because I deadass love ya,” said Cardi before starting to mutter hilarious unintelligible words.
Cardi has been at this comedy game for years now, long before she broke into hip-hop. The way she uses swear words and the faces she makes when cracking a joke is what landed her a role on reality television, where she became a star on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: New York.

So it’s not to say that we don’t believe that Cardi can become a proper role model for children. She has previously proven that she can pretty much do anything she wants, but do we really want her to be that role model?
Judging by the comments on her video, many fans want her to continue on the raunchy path she’s in. And let’s face it, it’s not Cardi’s job to be Big Bird or the UNICEF. People love their R-rated hero. Adults deserve their role models too!
I just want to make music ,make money ,buy a Mansion & have my babies already ..Then be out ✌🏽this fame shit annoying
