Barber Who Gives Homeless People Free Haircuts Is Gifted A Barbershop By A Stranger

C’mon admit it, there’s nothing better than feel-good stories when the holidays are creeping around the corner, makes us really think about what’s important, don’t you think? With winter making its way into Philadelphia, a man who spends his free time handing out free haircuts to the homeless was thinking about putting his mission on a halt due to the cold weathers, however, that all changed when a miraculous stranger appeared and rewarded this man’s beautiful act of continuous kindness.

The man we’re talking about is Brennon Jones, he had already made the headlines last year for his noble mission to help the homeless, by providing them fresh haircuts. “Me personally, I think I surpassed a thousand haircuts, so many I stopped counting. So it’s been a good year so far,” Brennon said to FOX News.

His charitable work soon spread like a gospel and after word got out of Jones’ mission, others like Sean Johnson were inspired to get involved and help Jones with his mission. “When I found out well I need to be part of that. I need to see what I can do to help,” Sean Johnson said and so he decided to give Jones a completely free of charge fully-renovated barbershop so he can continue with his services of helping those in need.

Brennon was clearly moved and amazed by this stranger’s kind offer. “He said listen, I’ve got a building I want you to come check out. He said, do you like this place? I said yeah I like it, he tossed me the key and said it’s yours,” Brennon recalled for FOX News.

The reason why Sean Johnson did this is that he empathizes with the homeless and knows too well the struggle that awaits those on the path to recovery, having to rebuild his own life once, after being released from prison. “When I was in their I went to school learned how to cut hair, my mother paid for my license and I’m not gonna let my mom down,” Johnson said.

Being the owner of Taper’s Barbershop, Johnson was planning an expansion on the Old York Road and even bought a place that he turned into a barbershop, but that all changed after meeting Brennon, having experienced success himself, he decided it was better to let go of his new shop and focus on the community itself. “It wasn’t about me giving a barbershop when you look at the homeless and the things that they need, I looked at it as more. I built something and I want to see it keep going and I want to see it do a great thing,” Johnson said.
