Students Hold Bake Sale Where The Prices Depend On your Race

What better place than a bake sale to turn it into a political battleground, right?! Turning Point USA, a conservative non-profit organization focused on promoting the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government, set up an “affirmative bake sale” in the University of New Mexico, that charged students based on their race and ethnicity, causing some serious backlash. According to the dictionary, “affirmative action” is “an active effort to improve the employment or educational opportunities of members of minority groups and women.”

They held a big sign in the front of their table, advertising their prices based on the customer’s race or ethnicity. “Asians $1.50, Caucasians $1.00, African American and Hispanics $0.50,”

Turning Point regional director William Witt, naively believed that the bake sale would generate a civilized conversation about affirmative action programs, but soon enough, the protesters showed up, outnumbering the people of the organization and forcing them to leave as things got quickly out of hand.

“Certain groups get different opportunities than other groups, and we believe it doesn’t give equal opportunity,” Witt claimed. “We had tons of people who wanted to have great conversations. But once people start yelling, destroying our stuff and breaking everything on the table, it makes it tough to have good discussions.”

The hilarious video shows a bunch of neck-beard men with man boobs yelling obscenities at the gullible organizers, who probably thought that they would extra credit for this unnecessary and embarrassing set up. Both groups of students would have been better off working on their homework’s than protesting such a redundant subject under the scorching hot New Mexico sun.

It’s funny to see that the Asians were the ones who got the shortest end of the stick by these ambiguous social justice warriors and were nowhere to be found in the area. Probably because they actually go to college to learn and become professionals and not to become poster boys for some vague cause.

African Americans were also missing from the scene, I bet they were suspicious of such bargain, and know better than to thread into an angry Chad’s territory, they probably didn’t want to catch the blame for the constant disorderly conduct of other groups.

The members of Being Latino were not informed in time to make the most of this bargain, as of now, our offices lack baked goods.

The University of New Mexico demarcated their relationship with Turning Point by claiming it is not recognized as an official student group.
