Alex Rodriguez’s Daughters Reveal The Only Reason They FaceTime Him

Aren’t Latino families the best families? When you look at couples like Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez you just can’t help but feel like they are. The couple just started dating in February of this year, but the bond they have built already looks unbreakable.

The reason why they look so strong together is due to the way in which their shared family has come together, Nathasha and Ella Alexander, both A-rod’s daughters, look up to Jennifer Lopez and FaceTime with the singer every chance they get.

“My daughters think their dad’s a hero now, for the first time. They think they went to heaven. Now they’re hanging out with Jennifer backstage, they’re dancing, they’re singing with her.” Said the former MLB star on a live interview with Jimmy Kimmel. “We usually call at least once a day on FaceTime. Now, they call me three, four, five times. It’s funny because I pick up the phone, I’m like, ‘Hi Tashi, hi Ella,’ and I can see them. They’re like, ‘Hey daddy.’ and they’re looking around behind me, and I’m like, ‘Hi honey, how was school?’ And they’re like, ‘Uh, dad, yeah, it was great. Where’s Jennifer?’ And I say, ‘Oh, no, she went to the set already, she’s working.’ ‘Oh, okay, dad, I’ll call you later.” continued the former Yankee.

Lopez’ twins, Maximilian David, and her daughter Emme Maribel, are also huge fans of Alex Rodriguez, and get along wonderfully with his daughters, as you can see on both celebrities Instagram accounts. It’s wonderful to see people learn from their past mistakes and settle in a loving environment that nurtures the children from both sides. In a country where divorce rates are going up exponentially and family values are being lost left and right, is nice to see people who can actually make it work and that look out for the kids who are always the most vulnerable to the bad vibes that unhappy couples bring to the dinner table.

We only hope that this couple stays together for a long a time and that their children can learn from their parents’ love, so they can apply it to their own families in the future and they can procure healthy and happy relationships of their own, that will revert the effects of all the tragedy that families have to endure nowadays, in this sometimes cruel but always beautiful country that we call home.
