An abuela thought she was using a religious bracelet with the images of saints and virgins, but in reality, the accessory had the photos of former Mexican band, Rebelde (RBD).
Facundo Moreno, her grandson, realized the bracelet wasn’t what she thought and posted a picture of it on Twitter. He added the caption, “I look at my grandma’s bracelet and ask her what it is about. She replies that it has saints and virgins on it, that she has been using it for years. I’m laughing out loud,” he wrote.
The bracelet has the photos of Mia Colucci, Roberta Pardo, and Diego, some of the members of the famous Mexican telenovela and former pop group. The image went viral on Twitter with over 20,000 retweets and 40,000 likes in only four days.

RBD rose to worldwide fame in the mid-2000 with their telenovela “Rebelde.” They released their first album “Rebelde” in 2004 and went on to sell millions worldwide.
With two million albums sold in the United States alone, and more than 20 million worldwide, the band is considered the most famous Latin pop group of all time. Its members include Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Christian Chavez, Alfonso Herrera, and Christopher von Uckerman.
This confusion isn’t the first time a grandma does something like this. Earlier this year, Gabriela Brandão from Brazil posted on Facebook a picture of a saint her grandmother prayed to every day. It turned out to be a “Lord of the Rings” figure.
