The hostess of morning television show, Despierta America, Francisca Lachapel, gave her mother a wonderful Christmas gift. Lachapel, who is also a former Nuestra Belleza Latina, wanted to pay her mother back for all the support she has always given her.
The television presenter decided to save all the money she earned so she could transform her mother’s house into something amazing. Her mother, Divina Montero, could not even fix a broken window back in the day due to low-income wages.
Lachapel documented the transformation of the house and saw it practically become brand new. “As soon as they [the constructors] gave the first hammer to the window the wall that supported it collapsed,” she said.
The beauty queen took her mom shopping to get everything for the house. “I want everything in that house to be everything she wants. She chose the type of floor, the color, she chose everything,” said Lachapel.
“Precisely in this Christmas season I always saw my mom excited to receive some money to little by little make arrangements to our house, arrangements that only remained in attempts since the money was never enough for everything the house needed,” wrote Lachapel on Instagram.
She thanked God for the opportunity to give her mother the house of her dreams. And also thanked her mother for all the effort and love that helped her become the woman she is today.
