The night of December 31st, Demi Lovato brought the house down with a performance at the Fountain Bleu Miami. The singer then proceeded to bring down the internet by sharing a quick peck with her dancer and choreographer, Jojo Gomez, as the clock marked 12:00 AM.
“Last performance of 2017 and first kiss of 2018,” Lovato captioned an Instagram slideshow full of pictures of herself dressed in sequins, singing on stage, going down a flight of stairs, and kissing Jojo. Jojo Gomez took to Instagram herself with a pic captioned:
“Happy Mutha F*ckin New Years Eve. Brought in 2018 with #TeamDemi & couldn’t have been any better! I love my job! Thank you @ddlovato a million times. You are the shit. Thank you for the best NYE ever.”
Lovato and Jojo performed together onstage plenty of times before, and hardcore fans know how steamy things got between them. The New Year’s kiss had fans understandably going wild. Though there were some haters in the comments section, the majority of users on Gomez’s page were ecstatic about the kiss.
The kiss set a dominant mood for 2018 for fans everywhere. Fans are labeling Demi Lovato their “bisexual queen” despite the fact that she has yet to come out as bisexual.
