Cardi B Quickly Becoming An A-List Artist, Equals The Beatles On Billboard Hot 100

The first Billboard Hot 100 chart of 2018 came with a few surprises. Some things were no surprise like “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran feat. Beyoncé still reigning at number one. However, for Latina singer Cardi B, things are looking good as she managed to get three of her singles in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously.

“No Limit,” “MotorSport,” and “Bodak Yellow” are the tracks that gave Cardi B a record on the chart. She became the third artist to have their first three singles on the Top 10 simultaneously – something accomplished only by Ashanti and The Beatles.

The Beatles had “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You,” and “Please Please Me,” in gold, silver and bronze positions back in 1964. Ashanti had “Foolish,” “What’s Luv?” and “Always on Time,” spread throughout the Top 10 in 2006.

Cardi B is also the first artist to have three Top 10 singles simultaneously since Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea in 2014. Meanwhile, B’s “Bartier Cardi feat. 21 Savage” is at number 14 on the chart. Also, Ozuna and Cardi B’s “La Modelo” debuts on the Hot 100 at No. 52.

There is no doubt that this is a great way to start the new year for Cardi B, joining the exclusive club of artists who have charted their first three singles in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The 25-year-old Latina has yet to comment on her history-making feat.

Other artists on the first ranking of 2018 include Camila Cabello with “Havana feat. Young Thug” at number three and Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” at number five.
